Carmona Flamenco performs at Town Hall Seattle
as a part of the Jewish in American Concert, a Celebration of the
Jewish American Experience, co-presented by Town Hall and the Seattle
Jewish Film Festival/AJC. Showtime: 8pm. 8 pm Featured is the Pacific
Northwest debut of The Zmiros Project/Jewish Mystical Songs (Frank
London and Lorin Sklamberg, both founders of The Klezmatics, with
keyboardist Rob Schwimmer). They are joined by the Joshua Nelson
Ensemble – lively Jewish music with an African American gospel twist,
and A Sephardic Suite, songs and music drawn from the rich traditions
of Sephardic Jewry performed by Seattle artists Marcos Carmona, Rubina
Carmona, and Madeleine Sosin. Pre-concert talk at 7:20.
